Ron began practicing law in 1972 and has a legal practice that includes estate and tax planning and representing a wide variety of industries and professions. Ron has served as a guest lecturer on Estate Planning for Retirement Plan Distributions at John Marshall Law School, and has made presentations on estate planning at seminars for accounting firms and the Chicago Bar Association, including its Trust Law Committee.
Ron practices in the areas of estate and tax planning, probate and trust administration, retirement plans, employees stock ownership plans, corporate and real estate transactions and other business, tax and employment matters. Ron’s practice includes advising clients on retirement and employee benefits plans, as well as analysis and planning relative to federal and state tax laws in connection with real estate, corporate and partnership transactions. Ron also handles probate administration for decedents’ estates, will contests and other estate litigation, the various aspects of post-mortem tax planning, the preparation of federal and state estate returns, and federal estate tax audits and related tax proceedings in the U.S. Tax Court and other federal and state courts.
