Area of Legal Concentration
Bob focuses in estate planning, including the administration, taxation and litigation of estates and trusts. Leveraging his extensive experience in state and federal tax laws, he guides clients through every aspect of estate planning, probate, trust administration, and related disputes.
Beyond estate matters, Bob represents individuals and privately held businesses in a variety of transactional, corporate, and real estate issues.
Bob has held leadership roles such as Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates Section Council, where he remains an active member. He also serves on the boards of the Charles and M.R. Shapiro Foundation and the Trillium Foundation, and previously chaired the Chicago Bar Association’s Probate Practice Committee.
