Andrew Holstine, a partner at Schoenberg Finkel Beederman Bell Glazer LLC, focusing his practice in the areas of estate, gift and corporate transactions. Mr. Holstine has been a frequent speaker on a variety of topics and for a diverse group of audiences. Highlights include presenting a continuing education seminar to the McHenry County Bar Association on charitable planning, client seminars for accountants and financial planners, and tax and estate planning workshops for agricultural landowners. Mr. Holstine is past president and a current board member for The Chicago Farmers and serves as pro bono general counsel for two foundations promoting medical, educational and charitable programs in Vietnam. Mr. Holstine taught an MBA course in International Contract Law as a visiting professor for a graduate school in Hanoi, Vietnam. He also served several terms on the foundation board of the Northeast Illinois Special Recreation Association, assisting in fundraising and outreach initiatives and conducting workshops on special needs planning for members and the public.

Mr. Holstine practices in the areas of estate and tax planning, asset protection planning, business succession planning, corporate transactions, real estate, and probate and trust administration. Mr. Holstine has experience in the administration of trust and estates including gift and estate tax return preparation, drafting pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, decanting trusts, family settlement agreements, generation-skipping planning, tax planning for non-citizens, implementation and administration of irrevocable trusts, grantor trusts and special needs planning. Mr. Holstine has worked with families on multi-generational planning, advising owners of closely-held businesses, counseling professionals and families who are accumulating assets, and individuals seeking to protect their wealth and their descendants from tax and creditor issues.
