Since joining Schoenberg Finkel Newman & Rosenberg, LLC in 1979, Dan has been involved in most areas of business law. Although he is a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department, Dan’s practice more closely resembles that of a general practitioner. He uses his knowledge of, and experience in, many diverse areas of law in crafting solutions to the wide array of legal problems and issues that confront the Firm’s clients.
Bruce Bell has a general commercial practice concentrating in the corporate and tax areas. He serves as general counsel for many closely-held businesses and represents numerous high net worth individuals.
Joan’s commercial real estate experience spans construction, development, land use, acquisition, disposition, lending and leasing. She works with her clients’ financial and investment goals in connection with transaction matters.
Frank Cohen counsels clients on how to avoid probate and minimize estate tax liabilities and represents executors and trustees in the administration of estates and trusts, including the preparation of tax returns and the distribution of assets. Frank has lectured before various professional and civic groups in the area of federal taxation and is active in numerous civic and religious organizations. Frank has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1961 and is a former IRS Revenue Agent, Hearing Officer and Instructor.
Terry Engel concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate tax, commercial real estate, and banking and corporate counseling. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of NCB Holdings, Inc. and on the Village of Skokie Library Board, as well as being actively involved in numerous charitable, civic, political and social organizations.
Norm is not only an experienced commercial litigator, but also a legal and business advisor. He uses his business background and experience to anticipate issues and advise clients on business matters, and he helps devise solutions to a variety of legal and business problems and issues that may arise.
Michael has been a partner and associate in law firms of national prominence, where he was involved in the development, financing and/or conversion of such well-known projects as River City, Le Meridien, Millennium Centre Tower, The Transportation Building, Grand Plaza, and other developments that have changed Chicago’s skyline. He has also negotiated and closed the mergers and acquisitions of local, national and international companies.
Len Gambino maintains an extensive corporate practice, working on some of the Firm’s most complex transactions. Len joined the Firm from Sidley & Austin, where his practice was concentrated in mergers and acquisitions. He has been a partner in the Firm since 2000.
An experienced trial lawyer who regularly appears in state and federal courts across the country, Adam’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, including partnership and corporate governance disputes, fraud, asset recovery, and business law. He also maintains a specialized practice representing independent sales representatives nationwide.
